Measuring up, the story of a life dedicated to service

First and foremost, I would like to say “thank you” to each and every one of the men and women who helped and supported our family at the time of my father’s passing. The fact that you would take the time out to be at the memorial service or to offer a kind word means so much to our family.

I want to personally thank Pastor Green, Pastor Kleiman, Arlo Moehlenpah, and Pastor Trammell for honoring my father with their thoughtful words during the memorial service and to Pastor Pate who delivered the grave side eulogy.

I can hardly believe it is Thanksgiving time already. I am sure I am not the only one feeling as though the holiday season arrived ahead of schedule this year. Didn’t we just celebrate the 4th of July several weeks ago?

Some things only a Dad can Fix

I need my Dad“. Whether you are 5 or 65, you have probably uttered those words a time or two whenever you have found yourself in a situation where you weren’t completely sure what you should do.
